So most of you who know me...and know me well know that all i listen to is (japanese music...duh) and atl indie stuff!
most of these people i know, but i dont just listen to them because they are "mah patnah n dems" but because i've seen them perform and i've seen what they have done and what they do. I respect them and their craft's. They work hard and they put in werk (some of u know about werk) Even though they are not famous, most of them have a good following here in Atl. Through music you can accomplish so much and touch so many people. All you have to do is be your self...thats why I'm in this industry...i'm stuck! There are some bad things about it, but in my opinion, the good overrides the bad. I love the music industry and i learn something new about it and my self every day...i'm taking it to Japan...who's with me?
Anyway my ATLiens playlist:
(No specific order!)
"Call me" Joe Billz
"Wherever you are" Mums FP
"Hollywood" A.ware
"Dream on" Pison Flo
"Step Child" Mach 5
"Weerdo" Hollyweerd
"Fades away" Future Shock
"Beat off in my ride" Sean Falyon
"Oil and Water" Hollyweerd <---really all their stuff...
"Black & White" Brittany Bosco
that one song by Fusion Band...i dunno the name of it
any way...i love atl and the music it took me a while to realize how good it was here...some people complain and say how atl is not cultured enough but i think Atlanta has come a long way... i mean i'm not originally from here, but from what i've grown up to see and learn about i think atl is has a lot to offer. There are all kinds of people here and all types of cultures, whether if you see them or not (Buford HWY).
I also think a lot of me loving atl has a lot to do with me being swallowed by the indie music scene and me working for Patchwerk. i've only been working there for about 7 months now, but i've met so many good people with different goals and aspirations. Most of the people i work for are inspirations them selfs. Just sitting back and watching all that is here, sometimes i get overwhelmed. So far, i think i have had the best times of my life..hope that doesnt sound dramatic or cliche but its how i feel! lol
but anyway this post was just supposed to be a playlist, so i'm leaving now...
I wanna add more musicians from atl to this list so lemme get to werk and make more contacts
;)
